Forecast and Outlook questions
Outlook combines the space-weather signal with local darkness, Moon and sky conditions. A strong upstream signal does not always produce local visibility. For a fuller explanation, see the aurora forecast guide.
Alerts
Alerts require notification permission. If an alert looks wrong, note the approximate area, time, alert sensitivity and what Outlook showed at the same time. See how Aurora Beacon alerts are designed.
Subscriptions
For purchase or restoration issues, include whether you are using iPhone or Android and whether the issue concerns purchase, renewal, cancellation, restoration or access to Plus features.
Community uploads
If a photograph or contribution is not behaving as expected, include the approximate submission time and a screenshot where useful. Do not send private information that is not required to diagnose the issue.
What to include in a bug report
- Device type and operating-system version
- Aurora Beacon app version
- The screen or feature involved
- What you expected and what happened instead
- A screenshot where useful
